The Donley Foundation is a private,
grantmaking organization, created in 1987 through the
generosity of Edward and Inez Donley. In keeping with
family priorities, grants focus on education, human services
or other projects that benefit young persons or disadvantaged
people. In the spirit of encouraging innovation and community
development, The Donley Foundation prefers to support
projects that provide seed money or have the potential
for impact in enhancing education, addressing issues of
human needs or encouraging members of disadvantaged communities
to work together to overcome adversity. In recognition
of The Donley family's lifelong active involvement in
education, literacy programs and libraries hold special
priority for The Donley Foundation.
